We’re passionate about Science-Based, Pawsitive Dog Training.

Meet Laura

Dogs have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, shaping a lifelong fascination with how they think, learn, and communicate.

That passion led me to formal training at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute (CASI), where I graduated with honours, earning my Diploma in Animal Behaviour Science and Technology across canine, feline, equine, and parrot species, with a specialization in aggressive behavior.

Alongside my academic training, I’ve spent years working hands-on with rescue dogs and complex behavior cases. Before working professionally with dogs, I built a career as a software architect—an experience that deeply informs how I approach training today.

Clear systems, precise timing, careful observation, and evidence-based problem solving are second nature to me, and those same principles are at the heart of Click Happens: science-based, pawsitive training that replaces guesswork with clarity and supports lasting behavior change for dogs and their people.

We can help.

Resolve Common Behavior Challenges

Whether you’re dealing with barking, jumping, reactivity, anxiety, or impulse control issues, we help you understand why the behavior is happening and how to change it using clear, science-based strategies that work in real life.

Build Calm, Reliable Skills at Home

Through personalized, one-on-one coaching, you’ll learn how to reinforce the behaviors you want, prevent unwanted behaviors from repeating, and respond confidently in everyday situations—without force, fear, or guesswork.

Create Lasting Change, Not Quick Fixes

Our approach focuses on long-term behavior change by addressing learning history, emotional state, and environment. The result is a calmer dog, clearer communication, and skills you can rely on well beyond the training sessions.
